Can be set up to deliver feeding only, or feeding and automatic tube flushing to reduce tube clogging. Automatic, 25-mL tube flush delivered every hour and before the alarm sounds for EMPTY, DOSE COMPLETE and LOW BATTERY, to reduce tube clogging. Automatic set priming allows the caregiver to perform other duties while priming takes place. Manual priming is available, but not necessary. Dial and display panel instructions are clear and simple; the cassette fits easily into place, eliminating the need to thread, loop or wrap tubing. The unique, patented cassette is shaped to prevent accidental free-flow of feeding due to improper set loading. Ultrasonic sensor, rather than drop sensor, means fewer alarms due to overfilled sight chamber, condensation or drops clinging to inside of sight chamber. Flow rates of 1 to 300 mL/hr in 1-mL increments.
